Once upon a time, the ocean was incredibly clear. Its transparency was such that even when flying over it in an airplane, one could see straight to the ocean floor. However, the jellyfish residing in this pristine water grew envious. Unlike the colorful sea creatures, they were barely visible. In an attempt to make themselves unique in their environment, the Jellyfish King devised an ill-intentioned plan. The plan involved polluting the water with various colored jelly to paint the ocean. As a result, the jellyfish began using different colors of jelly, causing the once-clear ocean to become contaminated with purple, green, red, orange, pink, and yellow jellies.
The game offers three distinct modes:
- Single player campaign
- Competitive multiplayer
- Your own 3D environment called Jellyfish Sanctuary
The single player mode revolves around a narrative that unfolds with each level. The player assumes the role of the hero, tasked with restoring the ocean to its original clear blue state by eliminating the polluted jellies caused by the jelly jellyfish and their king. Each level is presented on a colorful and adventurous map that evolves in atmosphere as the story progresses.
In addition to engaging in friendly competition with Facebook friends via leaderboards and score comparisons, players can also request items such as oxygen from their friends. By connecting to Facebook daily, players can claim rewards and unlock secret levels. Furthermore, multiplayer mode allows players to compete against friends and increase their win rate while unlocking special rewards. Lastly, players can care for their pet jellyfish within a customized 3D environment.
